Following a $5 million renovation, San Francisco's Hotel Union Square has a fresh look to complement its rich history. Design consultant Riley Johndonnell updated the guest rooms with cream tufted headboards and capsule-shaped mirrors, while restoring exposed-brick walls, original staircases and murals to maintain the 1913 building's connection to the past.
