Besides the obvious reason for staying at the mod and
sexy Hotel Diva in San Francisco (it's mere steps from
Union Square's Louis Vuitton, Chanel. and the largest
Bloomingdale's outside of New York), now you can
test drive DWR furniture in the Design Within Reach
Suite. Designer Lisa Sayed picked furnishings from
the San Francisco-based retailer, such as Reve Bed
(with a charcoal-black felt headboard) and twin
Melena chairs that sandwich a light fixture by local
designer Pablo Pardo. Inside the suite's office
nook/wet bar are black granite countertops and a
desktop computer with free Internet access. Wireless
is available throughout the hotel and computer
stations are tucked into three lounges, including the
LeeQuen Lounge, a partnership between furniture
designer Rick Lee and his wife, apparel artist Colleen
Quen; and the DLX lounge, in reference to the trendsettmg
DLXSF Skateshop in San Francisco.
